Abstract

Issuance of Sukûk’s corporation, it can be an opportunity for many companies to become proponent necessity for funding and business expansion. Sukûk publication announcement is an information for investors in order to assess it based on their investment decisions. In order to get the investment decisions, investors often based on the signals that had been given by the company. That signal can caused the changes of demand and supply’s shares. This study aims to find out the reaction of the stock from the Sukûk publication as indicated by the presence of abnormal returns around the date of publication and the Trading Volume Activity (TVA) difference which is occured before and after Sukûk publication.This study uses event study approach, it carries out on 11 issuer stock of Sukûk publisher which is listing in Indonesia Stock Exchange period : 2008-2012. This study also uses observation period for 81 days, they are t - 10 (70 days before publication), t - 0 (event date) and t +10 (10 days after publication). The hypothesis calibration of this thesis uses a one sample t - test and paired t - test.The results of this study is based on a statistical test with a significance level (α) = 5 %resulted AAR which was in a significantly positive on t - 2 at 0.03711 and significantly negativeat t +9 of 0.03. In contrast with TVA, the statistic results showed probability value of 0.026,which means there is a significant different of trading volume activity before and after ofSukûk publication. The lack of information about Sukûk also caused there is significant AARreaction only in some poriods of observation and significant negative TVA .

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the effect of motivation to organizational commitment of teacher. This research uses questionaire as the primary data and the samples are 67 teachers and candidates of MI Islamiyah Madiun.this research uses quantitative approach with multiple linear regression as the analysis method.Based on the findings, it obtained multiple linear regression equation : Y = -0,460 + 0,666X1 + 0,473X2. The result reveals that motivation affect positively and significantly to the organizational commitment of teachers in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Islamiyah Madiun. It is known from the calculated F vakue of 105,532 with a significance level (probability) of 0,000. Value of the variable t test Motivator and Hygiene partial effect on organizational commitment of teacher in MI Islamiyah Madiun significance level <0,05.MI Islamiyah should maintenance motivation of teachers, especially to endure the motivator factors and improve the hygiene factors to achieve organizational commitment of teachers in MI Islamiyah Madiun.

Abstract

Developing the rapid syariah banking along with increasing number of employee who is recruited by syariah banks motivate human resources existing to choose profession as employees in syariah banks.This research aims to know the basic considerations motivation for choosing a profession as an employee of Bank Syariah X Surabaya. The approach used in this research is qualitative approach with eksplanatoris case study. . Data collection is done by gathering documents, interviews, direct observation, and physical devices toward employee recruitment of Sharia Bank X Surabaya 2012. The techniques of analysis conducted is making an explanation.The results obtained that there are various forms of motivation shown by each employee who push their chosen profession as an employee of Bank Syariah X Surabaya. Then, that motivation is classified and described according to the theory of motivation based on Islam, Khaliq Ahmad namely The Need Theory, Instincts and Innate Biological Determinants for Behaviour, Incentives (External Stimuli),Commitment (Sincere), and Motivated Personality which is separated as Nafs Ammarah, Nafs Lawwamah, and Nafs Mutmainnah.

Abstract

Joblessness and lack of social welfare are economic problems which require the involvement of all people to overcome. The education aspect which functions to prepare educated human resource also plays important roles in reducing the level of joblessness and increase the social welfare. Islamic Boarding School Sidogiri Pasuruan as an educational institution not only provides Salaf education materials, but gives social benefits through its social entrepreneurship program.The aim of this research is to discover the social entrepreneurship applied at Islamic Boarding School Sidogiri Pasuruan. This research uses qualitative descriptive approach, by using a qualitative research of case study. Technique of data collection applied in this research is through documents, interview, participatory observation, and documentation upon the informants selected by using purposive sampling methods.The results of the research show that the application of social entrepreneurship at Islamic Boarding School Sidogiri Pasuruan can be proven by the innovation of establishment of social entrepreneurship institution, i.e. Kopontren Sidogiri (Cooperative of Islamic Boarding School Sidogiri), Pustaka Sidogiri, Buletin Sidogiri (Sidogiri Buletin), BMT Maslahah, BMT UGT Sidogiri, BPRS UMMU Sidogiri dan Koperasi Agro Sidogiri (Sidogiri Agribusiness Cooperative). They have been established based on the ideas and roles of civil society of Islamic Boarding School Sidogiri Pasuruan to maintain the economic activities, i.e. the duty of delivering Islamic values (dakwah), business, and providing social values for the society around Islamic Boarding School Sidogiri Pasuruan.

Abstract

Conflict is something that can not be separated in the process of management of the company. Conflict that managed well will be able to make a positive contribution to the business activities and the achievement of corporate goals. This study used a qualitative research methodology with a case study approach. The selection of a qualitative methodology based on the problem formulation used in this studyThe results of this study indicate that the conflicts that happened in management Central Market Puspa Agro caused by internal and external factor. Internal factor is derived from obscurity powers, functions and roles, monitoring and evaluation weakness, slowness of responds to the problems, the competence of individual differences, the target and task interdependence. External factors consist of the presence of government policies and industry demands. The effect of conflicts are functional and dysfunctional. Conflicts levels are low, optimal and high.Conflict management is applied by stimulation, reduction of conflict and conflict resolution methods. Conflict stimulation methods include the application of the system of reward and punishment and the different treatment of habit . Conflict reduction methods include the provision of a forum for dialogue, joint activities and creating new challenges. Conflict resolution methods include the expansion of resources, compromise, change the variable structure of the company, avoiding and otorative command.
